Is this part of a new format? I see vBulletin where bike forums used to be when I open the site.

The site has used vBulletin for years, but I've never had that happen?
Did it reoccur? Did you check to see it your browser dropped any images?
Was anything else wrong that you noticed? Maybe a bried database error.
Anyway are your still experiencing this abd what are tiy using/browsing it with?

I'll offer another theory...
Maybe your browser was constructing the page and stalled at some point. The 'vBulletin' logo is a placeholder which is covered with the BF logo elements.
IIRC all vB templates start with that logo at the top and you replace it.
