Wish I had a sleeveless bike jersey.
But I did get a commemorative sticker.
And I have to say, the large FEMA site in Philly is quite efficient. From arrival to getting stuck was no more than 15 min. Then you can use the "observation time" to schedule your second shot using your phone.

I'm cheap thrifty and spokes are more expensive than I want them to be, so it really helps me out to know how many I have on hand.
Of course, knowing what length they are just ensures that the ones I have in stock are never the correct length, but it makes me feel better inside

Quick spoke story:
Many years ago, I came in from the field when my secretary told me that we had a copier repairman working on our machine and was totally flummoxed. I checked on him and he had manuals and schematics all laid out on our break room table, meanwhile tapping his forehead with a spoke. I had been using a spoke for a book mark in a tech manual and it had evidently fallen into the machine while I was making a print copy.
He had found it during routine maintenance and was trying to figure out where this threaded hooked thing was supposed to go in our machine.

I have maybe 4 unused that the guy who built the wheels for the Battaglin gave me as spares. Haven't needed them.
I have given some thought to buying a Dura Ace EX hubset on Ebay, sourcing some rims, and building my own. It would be my first build. I don't have a truing stand, so I'd need one of those. And spokes and nipples.
The problem is, it seems like BITD, meaning late 70s/early 80s, 36 spokes was the most common build. So I'd have to source 6 dozen spokes! Between the hubs, the rims, the spokes, and the stand, we're talking enough money to buy a couple wheelsets.

In a sail boat race, it's quite a thing to throw a bolt, nut, clevis pin, or similar into the sail of the boat below you so when it rolls down the sail and lands in the cockpit all eyes are looking up to see if the mast is falling down. Thus the other boat loses speed and position due to distraction.

You wouldn't have time. The mound is 43' from the plate. The pitcher releases the ball when she is about 4' inside of that. Average pitcher in college throws over 60 mph. That's about 90' per second. You have less than one half of a second to duck, roll up, and cry like a little girl. Can't be done.
