Europeans love Boston and it's generally referred to as a gritty/dark/hard place, which is übercool these days.

I don't find it dark at all and find it well-worn and loved like a nice set of denim trousers.

Boston is tiny. More like a big town than a city, and it's really, really white. If you aren't bored by it within a few days...

I was actually referring to Boston teams' over-achievements in (American) football and baseball this year. It particularly raises the hackles of the New York denizens.

No one in the office cares that I keep my bike inside. One pannier for my laptop, and one for bike stuff.

I know. I was at the 2004 WS when they won game 4. NYC can't hold a candle to any sportsteam coming out of Boston over the last 8-10 years. It makes me laugh as it's a microcosm of BOS over NYC.

The banks, the universities, the sheer history of America. Anyone that likes NYC over BOS is in the dark or a not-well-informed tourist.

Well, when it comes to the history of America, the redcoats kept NYC for pretty much the entire war

W hen it comes to the history of America, the redcoats kept NYC for pretty much the entire war
Which War? the country has gone from one to the next without much pause ..

Oldest American town on the Pacific Coast, did a little sleight of hand , a year after its founding ,
during the war of 1812..

only 6 years after the Corps of Discovery had new years by the Pacific shore..

....

Yes. And these docs on youtube are actually of good quality.

As soon as the Dutch left, I find that the history of NYC became much less interesting. Boston always holds its own. Also, NYC is more of a global city than an American city per se, that's why I recommend Boston over NYC any day of the week and twice on Sunday,

NOW!! you say? Okay... it's just chilling out at the office...

Doubt it's going to win me many prizes for photography - but I'd have to insist that the bike is awesome.

Very lush little oasis that one! Must've been an old building!

Office is in a charming old harbour building in the Østerbro neighbourhood:

Nice!

I miss KBH!

It's on the previous page, and spawned the conversation about the location

Ah... fair enough... seemed likely you'd have missed it on the previous page... unless you haven't deactivated endless scrolling of course

And thanks, it feels sharp too - I built it on my own a year back still pretty pleased with it... don't see too many flatbar 1x11 Di2 composite bikes around.
