FS: 82 De Rosa Sammontana
I'm selling my 82 De Rosa Sammontana. (Size: 57.5 seat tube, c-t and 56 top tube, c-c)
The bike rides as beautifully as it looks. It's in amazing condition as it hung in the original owner's shop for many years. The chrome is perfect and only has a few tiny chips on chainstay. Full pantographed Campy SR group and Mavic G40 clinchers. Pedals not included.
Price is $1800 plus shipping.

Unfortunately, De Rosa usually didn't triple plate the chrome on the bikes.

Beautiful bike and very fortunate with the chrome. Underneath my stairs with other Invalides, I have a 1986 Sammontana frame with chromed forks which look as though they were covered with crumpled aluminum baking foil, the chrome is so bubbly. Good luck with the sale

Oh man, it's just a little too large for me. Although maybe I could make it work. Plus I'm not sure I have the scratch for it. My son-in-law punched a hole in the wall in a fit of anger, and I have to get a handyman to come out and patch it. Maybe afterwards, I can send you a PM.
