So I let the cat out onto the back deck this morning and sit down to drink my coffee. A few minutes later he pounces on something, picks it up in his mouth and wants to bring it in the house. It's still dark, so I cannot see what it is. Fire up a match and see it's a dead bird. I think the thing was already dead when he found it because there were no final chirps.
