Finally got my hands on Sufjan Stevens- Age of Adz. I had already heard 3 of the songs.

But so far through this first listen I'm loving it. It's kind of a left turn for him, but not really. It's still wildly eccentric, just with a lot of electronic bleeps and bloops.

I Walked is a kickass song.

Yep. He abandoned the 50 states thing a while back. Said it was basically a crazy joke or something. He also released an EP called ''All Delighted People'' back in September. That was a bit more traditional Sufjan.

I used to have the Illinois and Michigan ones. His music is very pleasant and I like pleasant, happy melodies but he is a little bit too much a of a b!tch for me to handle for more than a few songs at a time.

I like this one

I'm gonna have to listen to a few versions of A Night In Tunisia now in Dizzy's memory.

Yeah, he can get a bit over the top sometimes. Even on the albums I like there are moments where I'm wishing he would tone it down. I give him credit though, for just going for it sometimes. He ended his most recent EP with a 17 minute song that would have made Neil Young proud with its repetitive guitar.

I think my new favorite riding album is Junior Boys ''So This is Goodbye.'' I love rediscovering albums I haven't listened to since college.

Here's some Debussy to accompany:
Reverie
The girl with the flaxen hair
Prelude to the afternoon of a faun
And the only one that I've learned how to play: Clair de Lune

Sounds good.

Here's the kid we had at school who rocked the house many a time. The parties he played at were always super packed.

Regardless of the music, the cinematography and directing in Runaway is pretty incredible.
