Replacing hub bearings - 6903 2RS (Tried Enduro)
Hi All,
Just replaced my rear hub bearings as one of them was very rough. Local bike shop had Enduro Max bearings, so I gave them a try. They are pretty rough right out of the box. Had no choice but to install and am going to go for a ride tomorrow.
Can anyone recommend another bearing brand that I can try as well? Something reliable and smooth?

NTN or SKS abec 5 , nothing ceramic unless you are running no seals race day only , maybe they where not seated properly or reassembled incorrect , enduro is pretty standard and usually does not have issues

If the wheel felt rough before and after the bearing change, is it possible that the cause of the roughness may be something else, such as chain, sprocket or freewheel related?

Not as common nowadays with the OS axles, but sometimes that problem with sealed bearing hubs is a bent axle.

Enduro MAX are intended for suspension pivots and are not particularly low drag, so I'm not super surprised. Enduro is generally fine if not the absolute tightest tolerance. Also not unlikely to be in part a poor tolerance on the hub.
