Randy is a member here, mostly in C&V and I believe he sold the rights to the site.

I noticed many of the new high end carbon fiber race frames have clearance for 30mm tires now!!!.....and fenders???.......Grant Peterson chipping away at their minds with his little ax

Yeah, thats whats happening- engineers in Asia are designing frames and giving slight concessions to a random guy with a small devoted following who would never buy any of the bikes those engineers are designing.**

Or, there is little to no downside to designing a frame to accept a 30mm tire compared to a 28mm tire and so its adjusted.
