“Brush-Hero” Wheel cleaning
I was cruising my neighborhood and found a “free” table in front of a house getting rid of some stuff. One was a “brush hero” water powered rotating scrub brush. Looks like an “as seen on TV” product. But it was free, and unopened, so I figured I’d check it out.
I was really surprised at how well the darn thing works! You thread it onto a garden hose, and water pressure turns a little turbine thing that rotated the brush. The water then exits onto the brush, so it’s constantly self rinsing.
It feels a little flimsy, it’s all plastic, and I don’t know how long it will last, but it actual worked really well. Especially for rims, between the spokes. It buzzes really loud, like a giant electric toothbrush, but it really made rim cleaning easier.
So yeah, I found it in the side of the road, tried it, and so far so good. I have no idea how much they’re charging for one these things, or if this is, like, a cheaply made version of an existing tool, but it did what it said on the box.
