Yes, I don't post the ones I contact. Someone else spotted the Teledyne Titan and posted in this thread, and jeirvine beat me to the two sets of Compass Grand Bois tires offered for beer, but nobody's found the chrome Voyageur 11.8 that I'm going to see next Monday (assuming seller actually holds it) yet. Shoot, now I've outed myself.

Motobecane is pretty except for seatpost size; those 107 cranks have better Q than Campagnolo. I'm posting to consume pp 2270, which nav buttons say exists but Can't be got to on my Firefox, which jerks and shifts all over as content loads.

Yep, that's the one, listed as vintage Italian titanium bike. With "Titanium" and "$250" in the ad title, it probably wasn't ever going to last long enough for me to get to it. I didn't mean to come across as whiny, finding good bikes at great (or just OK) prices - it's all a big game as far as I'm concerned, and I like playing it when funds and time allow.

You are. Don't worry about it. Personally, I appreciate you outing stuff on Facebook. I've had a love/hate relationship with FB and have generally only used it to see what my extended family is up to. Consequently, despite having spent a career as a software engineer, I am often left scratching my head when it comes to identifying vintage steel bikes there.
I enjoy outing bikes/frames which wind up in collectors' hands. a year or so ago a big (66cm or so) Colin Laing I outed on Classic Rendezvous found a new home and just the other day a 56cm Randy Smolenski did as well. Like you, I tend to keep my mouth shut about bikes I'm pursuing. I think that's understood by everybody. Even if a bike or frame is my size (most aren't), I'm generally not in acquisition mode. Also, flipping the script, people have called my attention to bikes or frames I eventually purchased. The most recent example of that is the Eisentraut Limited which briefly passed through jeirvine's hands.

To wit, here's a nice looking 53cm Guerciotti:
https://chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/b...150803044.html
It's a bit too expensive and has enough parts I'm not interested in to consider buying it and parting it out.

No advice on searching the damn thing, though. I just wander about and try different search terms, then post what looks interesting. Some I want but I've learned to control my bike lust and am happy to pass along most of the treasures. I do it all for you folks, just one of my services. I'm a damn saint.

They haven't gotten the sexy trendiness that Miyatas and Centurions got, but I always kind of liked high end Univegas.
https://seattle.craigslist.org/est/b...141418862.html
Check out those sick MKS pedals! And the Sakae crank! It looks original for the 1984 spec Comp other than the replaced brakes (would have been Aero Gran Compes)
E) the ad mentions something odd about the rear mech only shifting over five speeds which sounds like either a limit screw issue or possibly the cabling
