Funny you mention that; sort of the same thing happened to Loose Screws a few years ago: new owners of the site sold off all the bike parts & made it totally pro-NRA (by that I mean, overtly jingoistic) & small parts for firearms.

Ahh. So that's how it went. I wasn't aware of the back-stage mechanics of the thing, I'd only heard that he retired & sold off the lot; lock, stock, and (two smoking?) barrels to somebody else.

Necrobump. Anyone know anything more about Velospace? I can see not wanting to pay the server costs anymore, but hopefully they still have all the photos stored somewhere, so that someone else may be able to archive it.
