It's not a turd, with quality components and Ishiwata tubing. I can't see if it's 024 or 022 tubing, or what the model is. The frame quirks look similar to my Paragon (024) but the components are one step up (Shimano 600 which became Ultegra), so probably the frame is 022. It's big! Hope you are tall! I can see a few obvious problems (the left shifter, crusty saddle and tires, etc.) but nothing fundamentally wrong overall.
If you want it for a parts donor for a Schwinn Prelude, most of the drivetrain should work. But...

- I'm guessing the brakes will be too long and the wheels & tires too big, depending on the Prelude year.
- Prelude was a 6 speed and this is a 5 so the rear hub will be a big narrow.
- It might look a little funny to have a late-80s bike with 1980-ish components, if that matters to you.

Says the frame is 25 I ride a 63.5 so this should be nice. I might just ride this if its worth it and leave all parts. I only want index shifting in my prelude so im looking to swap out either just those parts or the minimal amount needed to have index shifting. Does this bik have index or friction shifting? Whats the worst case scenario with that left shifter? Thanks!
I think, if it your Prelude has Cyclone derailleurs and shifters, if you posted them in the for-trade thread you'd have some takers.

I am selling a beautiful, though somewhat worn, PSV-10. This is a top of the line, light-weight steel racing bike from the mid 80s (i think... hard to date these things exactly!). I bought the bike in near-new condition about 6 years ago and used it as my back-up bicycle - which means it had sporadic use - enough to know that it rides beautifully (and enough to give its paint job a few dings) but not enough to really wear it down or anything.
All of the parts are original except... the bike came with tubular tires - and at one point someone stole one of the wheels off my bike (joke was on them really -- i mean who uses tubular tires anymore?) but then as luck would have it that same night a really nice guy that I met randomly said "hey i have this great wheel-set from my old racing bike you should just take them." So now the bike has a pair of campy hubs with 'matrix' rims. Otherwise the brakes, shifters, derailers cranks, its all original.
As you will see in the pictures, this bike has been used. The paint job has been nicked here or there - its all cosmetic, but something to be up front about - and you will hopefully see this in the pictures. Otherwise the handlebar tape is a mess - and you will probably want to redo it, and possibly also have the thing tuned up in general. But I just took it out for a long ride today and its still smooth and fast and a pleasure to ride. There are no mounting holes for a rack - as this was a high end racing bike in its day - and thats the only reason I'm selling it - I have a big bike trip planned for this winter and I need a bike that can have a rack on it.
Also - I'm 6 feet tall. The bike is a hair large for me, but I have no trouble comfortably riding it around. Its probably ideal for someone who is more like 6'2" though.

The Specialized Expedition (this one is 1984) was one of the best touring bikes ever made, considered superior to the Trek 520, Miyata 1000, etc. Size: 60cm (large).
Beautiful lugged steel frame, lightweight, comfortable, but can carry a full load. Amazing specification includes routing for internal wiring in the downtube as well as three bottle holders (long before this became standard). Good tire clearance and braze ons for fenders and racks.
The bike is in completely original condition apart from saddle, cassette and tires.
- Shimano cantilever brakes, Superbe levers
- Nitto bars and stem branded Specialized
- Suntour Mountech derailleurs and Suntour downtube shifters
- Sugino AT crankset
- Super Champion 700c rims, Specialized hubs
- Blackburn rear pannier rack
- Sakae fluted seatpost
Not pictured: It also comes with the original bottom bracket dynamo and headlight, which still work and are now increbibly rare. A kickstand is also included.
I ride this very occasionally because it's such a great bike but otherwise it hasn't been used much for years, so still in superb condition. Selling it because I'm moving soon and decided not to take this with me. Perfect to ride as is or could be updated with modern components for the ultimate touring bike. Not many of these were made and they are now very hard to get hold of.

Selling my rare Miyata Pro bike. Made of lightweight double-butted chromoly Cr-Mo tubing with special Aero design, this is a great bike, rides beautifully, needs nothing. This is either a 1982 or 1983 based on Miyata's catalog. I've owned this bike for 15 years, enjoyed riding it and now it's time to let it go. The bike is exactly how I bought it, but previous owner upgraded some things so it is not all original parts.

At $295 this tiny 49cm Bianchis may be worth it just for the "kit". It looks little used and very clean

My wife got this bike about 10 years ago and it has about 200 miles on it. Stored inside the entire time and has had all cables and housing recently upgraded/replaced just due to age. Wheels are hand built with 105 hubs and 650b velocity rims. 10 speed Ultegra shifters, shimano compact crank and rack and hammered fenders. Top tube measures to about 50cm C to C and seattube is about a 48 C to C. Let me know if you have any questions.

They took the Pascoe down off of CL, must have gotten sold; I looked at it, I think it's basic gas pipe but it was a very interesting bike, lovely colors, leather saddle, lamp mount on left fork blade, pump pegs, British bike; but I couldn't bring myself to chase it even at a deep discount.
I found this blog of a fellow working on a similary Pascoe, green; but I looked at those back seat stays and I thought, the way they were pressed together, that can't be good. You'd see that on a Huffy or something.

That said, if I had the money (not much was asked), time, travel; if someone here scored it, I don't think it would be a bad deal. Maybe it's a good bike. Little on here on Pascoes.
One thing I know, Pascoe is actually a Cornish (Cornwall, England) word and yes, it is related to Easter as in Pascua in Spanish and similar terms I'm sure in Italian.

French Mafac brakes.
Stronglight crankset,
Wheel base (distance between front axle and rear axle): 40 inches.
Runs and shifts great. It is a solid bike.
