Eddy Merckx MX Leader

This frameset belongs to a friend of mine who is looking to downsize. The best steel bike they ever made.

No scratches or scrapes and the chrome is in top condition.

-58cm frame size:
->58cm ST c-t (57.3cm c-c)
->57.3cm TT
->155mm HT (not including headset cups)
-Columbus MXL tubing
-FNG paint scheme: charcoal with teal and fuchsia accents. Chromed dropouts and driveside chainstay
-black Chris King GripNut headset (new as of last summer)
-Italian threaded BB, 27.2 seatpost

He's asking for $800 OBO + ship for the frame + fork + Chris King headset, but is motivated to sell, so go ahead and shoot me a PM for offers.

Also available complete no wheels with mix of 11 speed 105 and Ultegra, ITM Eclypse stem, Deda 215 Shallow bars, and Thomson Elite for $1150 .

That is a subtle beauty! At the bottom of my size range and out of budget

That takes a 27.2 seatpost, not a 27.0.

Not so. Every other MX Leader in the known universe takes a 27.2, but that wouldn't fit on this one. 27.0 fits just right.

Bump, BTW. Reasonable offers not likely to be refused.

If you say so. A true 'one of a kind'.

Hi. Is the frameset still available? Are you able to ship to Singapore? Thanks!

My '92 MX Leader takes a 27.0 seatpost. I would have to hammer a 27.2 into the seat tube in order to get it to fit.

Update: this is no longer available. Owner built it up with Record 10 instead.

He also had the local framebuilder ream the seat tube to accept a 27.2 post.

Bumping this as it is back on the market. I know he wants to move it along, so hit me up.
