Somebody here must know.
Reminds me of an old Kreitler Rollers ad, I think.
Same look and feel, if I recall correctly.

I've just been reading the Vintage Trek site, for another project. The one on the left is Mike Appel.

Woodrup going home

I am rebuilding a 1985 Woodrup for a friend. He is sending the frame back to the factory in Leeds where he bought it in 1985 to have it repainted in its original regalia. Campag wheels and Shimano Golden Arrow groupset, except for the headset which is Woodrup inhouse and stuck. I've got all of the 1985 Golden Arrow groupset from across Europe. He's getting a new Brooks B17 so watch this space.
Woodrup is one of the last remaining bike works who will literally repair anything on a bike, Woodrup and/or any other bicycle - for a price - but hey.

Oh, we're going to need pictures of that one when finished!
Good luck with the restoration.

There is something very classy about a top end British touring bike.
