Did I get a good Raleigh package?

The frame has some surface rust...Parts are going to need service. I got an old 8 speed Mirage groupo Exa Drive if that is still compatible and a Reynolds 531 Raleigh. My guess is that it is a later model grand prix. It has a plastic bottom bracket cable guide and a cheezy blue/purple paint scheme.

For 200$ I got the hubs/brakes/brifters/derailleurs/mirage crankset/like new bottom bracket

A non campy Shimano 105 hub laced to an old Matrix Aero wheel with a 7 speed hyperglide cassette. (needs a spoke and truing) but the cassette is like new.
Front Bontrager wheel low spoke straight pull spokes, true and straight

The frame is a Grand Prix USA model 531 tubing. I'm hoping to transplant all the parts over to the Masi

The hub and cranks are exadrive...I hope I can still get parts for these in the near future.

"Raleigh USA" = Huffeigh. Japanese or Taiwanese manufacture.

So I got a high end huffy with a nice campy group and some wheels I suppose I could have got it cheaper but oh well. Now I have something more modern to tinker with.

You got a high-end Panasonic or something to that extent. Something along the lines of one of the later '80s 4130-tubed Japanese Schwinns with a nicer finish.

Remember, Huffy's involvement with Raleigh was purely in management only. Huffy's manufacturing facilities did not produce the Raleigh bikes manufactured during this era.

Incidentally, you say it is a Grand Prix and 531 - it should be light metallic green with a purple headtube like Quickdraw's machine, correct?
