Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cadillac Jersery (2010)

Has anyone received their 2010 Cadillac Jersey yet?

We drove the car and sent the card in but have not heard anything.

Visit www.bicycling.com/test-drive.com Last time I visited the link they assured that all who sent in their cards on time will receive their jersey. It said 8 to 10 weeks from 9/30/2010, so it should be soon! Hope this helps.

It took them no time to get me on their e-mailing list, but months to get my jersey. Of course after the 10 minute speech on Cadillacs, the salesman said, "do you really want to test drive the car or do you just want me to sign the card."

Will this jersey prevent the wearer from being run down by self-indulgent road hog Escalades?

Years ago, I went for a Cadillac test-drive because they were giving away a free Zebra putter ($90 value!) I told the salesdude that I was only interested in the putter hoping to truncate the sales presentation. Didn't work. We hopped in some huge Northstar powered behemoth.

Leaving the parking lot, I almost got t-boned when the sales guy pulled out in front of another vehicle. After a thorough test ride, he asked me to run my hand over the paint on the rear deck. It felt like there was sand imbedded in the finish.

After grinding through the GM marketing machine..my putter arrived..months later.

Your jersey will as well.

I did this last year, took about 3 months before I got the jersey, but it's a pretty nice jersey, so I was okay with that.

If you've not already done the drive, it's too late. Had to be in by like Sep 15th or something.

Last year it took much longer than originally promised - they said there was more demand than anticipated. I had forgotten all about it when the jersey finally arrived. Quality seems good and it fits fine. What's the color scheme this year? Last year they switched to almost all black. Looks ok but I would have preferred something more visible.

I'm surprised that anyone has received theirs before others. I read somewhere that they were going to collect all the cards, then place one order to fulfill only what they needed. This would lead one to assume that everyone would get theirs around the same general time. Maybe I got bad info on that.

Still waiting here, I've got my doubts. The black 2009 version is my go-to jersey when I want to wear something on the trainer or under a wind breaker (I'm not a big fan of black on the road if I'm riding alone or during the hot summer). It's a nice quality Giordana (not their cheap stuff) and I like the fit. I'm hoping the white one comes eventually and is similar quality/fit.

Not yet... I remember it taking a long time last year but they finally came. Looking back at my old emails to friends they came right around the last week of January or first week of February. Maybe someone will get one and post up here. A pic would be nice too.

I like my black one from last year. Get's a lot of nice comments on group rides.

My black one is also my go to for the trainer and when I need to double up a jersey for warmth. It's a great looking at fitting jersey, like grwoolf I'm not really into black on the road.

I still haven't received mine and also completed the card and sent it in last year. Unlike some of you, I don't think I ever received an email about this either. Is there any way for me to check on the status of my claim? Neither links work.
