Brings back memories.

Some (many, many) a friend and regular riding buddy broke his hip in a head on with a motorcycle. It was on a hilly section of two lane with a sharp curve in the dip. Don't know about the MC, but this is the kind of situation where bicyclists want to hold max speed for the climb out. So, both moving well, crowding the motorcycle lanes (double yellow) for good line, and not allowing for their respective widths.

It was like one of those "couldn't do it again if you tried" things, but the reality is that once in a curve and committed to a track, it's hard to make a last second correction on two wheels.
