Hamilton with David Letterman on Netflix.
Interesting story.

Mercedes is ruining this season. Well unless you like Mercedes.

No different than Red Bull a few years ago, and Ferrari a few before that.

24 hours of LeMans is running , now.. It looks more like a closed race course,

than a temporary closure of public roads, as in past years ..

'91 I found my self riding my bicycle through Spa, by the main straight and garages on a country road in Belgium..

Belgian GP is on the schedule this year ..

I don't see any difference in the track. I've been watching the 24 for years and it still looks the same. I also play it on my Gran Turismo game and it's the same.
On another note, I sure do miss Bob Varsha and his gang of broadcasters. Just not a fan of Eurosport.

Well of course that's like comparing Laguna Seca from that era and this. DOH

20 years ago smoothest Public Road in Northern Ireland was on the way to north causeway coast ,
Coleraine-Portrush.. NW 200

no run outs and gravel traps.. those are public roads..

Spa-Francorchamps is public roads other than for the race weeks.
Belgian GP

Found myself riding past the garage row , on a bicycle tour, thru the Ardennes.. in 91.

seeing an october race.. 24 hours 2CV which must be a fun event, there..

Congrats to Hamilton, Bottas, and LeClerc!

Sainz brought home a respectable 6th place finish for McLaren.

The Stewards have spoke. Consistent with their call in the Canadian GP, they have handed Riccardo two 5 sec. penalties for his last lap, off course, unsafe reentry, attempt in gaining position. Dropping him from 7th to 11th, out of the points.

FP 2 results are inconclusive as to who has the pace for qualifying tomorrow.

Congrats to LeClerc! Hamilton, and Verstappen.

LeClerc starts the race on the soft tire, may be questionable strategy.
Hamilton may end up with a grid penalty for obstructing Raikkonen in Q2.
Verstappen and Bottas could be the ones to watch.

That would be something special, Hamilton not getting away with something his rivals get penalized for.

Congrats to Verstappen, LeClerc, & Bottas!

Some great racing, especially in the last five laps.

Potential penalties await Verstappen.

If the stewards have the balls to be consistent for a change it's going to be a penalty for Verstappen

Yes, it's nice to have a national colour like that. But it's more of a party crowd than genuine racefans and the climate and reporting here is annoyingly chauvinistic.
