Bike Stolen!! Trek 660 Kenosha, WI

Crummy news. Stolen was my 24" white Trek 660. Doubt I will see it again, but if you do please PM me. Bike was taken from in front of a friend's house on the 4th a July in Kenosha, WI. On a positive note, they left me a busted up Huffy mountain bike.

There is a reward if you do lead to return of the bike to me. Thanks guys.

That sucks. Bike thieves are the worst form of scum. The "I'll trade my bike for yours without asking" m.o. makes me think it was a group of thieves. That would appear to be a pretty common scheme.

Kenosha is close enough to Chicago that it might turn up here. There is a flea market, Swap-o-rama, which is well known as a place where stolen bikes turn up.

Do you have pictures, size, serial number, components, or distinctive features, which might help people identify your bike should they come across it?

FYI - I think this bike is currently for sale in the Kenosha/Racine classifieds. I am almost sure as the PO had a ST Sprint derailleur which is not stock. Going to see if the authorities can assist.

UPDATE: Got the bike back! Just a lesson on filling police reports and documenting your bikes well. If you haven't done so, do it! Still had some others stolen since then, but this one was a near perfect fit.

Thanks yo any who looked out
