June Photo Contest

As discussed on the April thread, I've always liked the lettered contest months since they offer so many options and allow a lot of varied photos. So for June lets go with anything that can be described using the letter C. Cars, cats, castles, craziness, camouflage...anything you can title with a C - but give us the title if you would. I liked the simple rules @noisebeam used for April.

The rules are simple:
-You must be the photographer
-One entry per month

I'll start it off - cityscape

Scan of a cityscape picture including the WTC taken in Feb 84. I was interested in photographing the old (Woolworth Bldg) and new tallest buildings in NYC.

A Cormorant. A fancy South American Imperial Cormorant, unlike the all black ones (with blue eyes) that we have here.

Here's mine which I quickly found from my depository of photos. This was from the 2011 ALMS season which I regularly attended at Laguna for years. I name this: CORKSCREW

Cooper's Hawk
Although I have a few decent bird photos, my main photography lies elsewhere so my identification of this bird may be wrong. Not being a true bird watcher, the best I can tell is that this is a Cooper's Hawk. If someone knows better and it isn't a Cooper's Hawk, I'll remove it from the June photos.

That wagon looks like it would only carry 3 or 4 cows.

Crabon, composite, clinchers, caliper, Cannondale eight times not counting the head badge or bar plugs, crankarms, chain, crossed spokes, cleated, chainrings and chainring bolts, cassette, chainstays, clipless, Continentals, cables, cable housings, 700c, CO2, C50, cutout seat, collar, cup and cone, cages, and most obviously… a cataclysmically un-slammed stem and the cacophonous condemnation it’d certainly court in the consistently cantankerous road forum. Coincidently, this conflagration of contest-consonant consonants was captured with a camera that collected a cascade careening at close to c and contorted it into a coherent composition on a cellular construction of crystallogens contrived to coax charge carriers to convey it to a computer. Also, there’s a closed closet in the background.

^^^ uhhh.....cool, clever & cluttered

My oldest daughter moved to Seattle last week driving 3000 cross-country miles with 2 bikes on the back of her Kia and made it with no issues or stolen bikes, thankfully ! Among the usual photos like the Space Needle, Pike Place, the Troll, etc. was this one that fits the month. Not an entry to the contest, just another C pic to enjoy consider - Chewing gum
