Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Better cracks in foam than cracks in skull.

Glad you're OK.

I won't post pics of injuries from my accident last month. Too gruesome.

What did you hit?

Glad to know you're okay, as that could have been a lot worse.

Thanks. My head survived unscathed but nearly lost my foot. I'm out of action for a long, long time. Hoping for miracle recovery.

Take care out there.

This happened to me on the 4th of July...

I guess I am lucky that I only lost some teeth...

The pic was in the Ambulance on the way...crossing RR tracks...standing up and something got caught in my spokes...not sure what but the fork was broke and 2 spokes were tweaked. I had no damage ANYWHERE else...odd and I don't remember much except telling the guy in the ambulance guy how to use my IPhone....

Be aware...the pic is sort of gruesome "looking"

Man, you guys are scaring me!

This is why I always wear gloves, even on the hottest summer days.

Hooligans suck! Their parents should be brought behind the barn and given the thorough beating that they should've given their kids.

Why? Doesn't teach the kids anything, because by that point, they don't give a damn about their parents either.
Beat the kids, they are the responsible party.

Could you make it a little more cryptic? I'm picturing them stopping directly in front of you, but you tried to go around by passing on their left and one of the crew's body parts or a part of the car struck your right elbow as you passed.

Is that it?
