any1 did the long island harbor ride?

i'm going to do the ride tomorrow. debating which one i should do? the 30 miles or the 52 miles? i have no problem with either of them. i'm more concern with scenery. which one has better scenery? when i mean scenery i mean mansions and harbor. here are the the info for the 30 miles and 52 miles:

30 Miles/Sunken Meadows Loop: A ride north and west to East Northport, east to Kings Park, then south through Smithtown to the finish in Brentwood.

52 Miles/Huntington Loop: A ride west to Melville, north along the Nassau/Suffolk County border past Cold Spring Harbor to Huntington, east to Northport and Kings Park, then south through Smithtown to the finish in Brentwood. Cyclists ride alongside three Long Island Sound harbors--Cold Spring, Huntington, and Northport.

thx in advance.

I did the 52 last year.
Very nice ride.
Tomorrow we'll be doing either the 78 or 103.
If you're gonna ride, do the 52.
It doesn't pay to do a 30 mile ride

Depends how fast your ride.

Rest stops stocked with PB&J, bananas, Gatorade, etc.
Whatever you need to get you from one rest stop to the next.

52 mile timetable calls for starting 0830-0930. You finish when you finish. Note this is hilly. We drove that route today putting up signage today. Riding sweep on that route tomorrow. Rode from Great Neck to Suffolk College and back today.
Really hot. Time for the ole' hydration speech

well the 52 miles has a group ride option that start at 9:00 am. is that with a tour guide? if so, what time does the ride end if it starts at 9:00 am with the group option?
