Good deal? Used one year old Planet X Tempest Force 1 650B Titanium w/ roughly 4K mil
Looking to get a gravel bike and my dream bike would be a new Titanium one but bare min that is $3000+ new. A good aluminum starts around $2000 new, but I recently found a listing for an one year old Planet X Tempest Force 1 650B Titanium with roughly 4K miles $1650
*Full Sram Force 1 Hydraulic groupset
*FSA Afterburner Wheels 650B
*Selcof Carbon Fork and headset
*Selcof semi flared handlebars 42mm
*Plane X stem 80mm
*WTB titaniumn seat
*3T Zero25 Carbon seat post
* No pedals included
New and when in stock this runs £1999 plus VAT which might be the equal to at least $2800+?
Baring this is a used bike with 4000 miles with no warranty does $1650 sound like a good deal?

One year old and half price? That makes it a pretty good deal, especially in the covid market. 4000 miles is less than a year's use.
It is a pretty bike too. If that thing fits you offer a couple hundred less and bring cash.

My last bike was a PlanetX: I'd say they're fairly decent bikes for the money, though mine was a carbon one so I can't comment on the Ti frame. In my experience their customer support is good and they are good at responding to email queries. One irritating thing is that you'll almost certainly find the chain and cassette are cheap ones rather than the 1170 series which goes with the Force groupset. They don't do this with their Ultegra bikes so I don't understand why they do it with the SRAM ones. Also, the seat post in that picture is a plain old PlanetX aluminium one, not a 3T carbon one. They are apparently one of the biggest sellers of SRAM fitted bikes in the UK.

The BF way is to buy the bike and then ask if you got a good deal.

Only the buyer can determine if they got a good deal.

Got the bike and it's awesome! It's exactly what I wanted since it's very different from my Canyon Ultimate SL CF 8.0 Disc and the bike fits me very well. Bike was well taken care of and the previous owner really only changed the stock tires to Panaracer PariMoto 650B 38mm, changed the stock seaport to a 3T Zero25 carbon one, and he did have a WTB Titanium rail saddle which I think was broken. Either way I put on some light/cheap platform pedals, carbon cages, my Garmin/Quad Lock mounts, a Prologo saddle I actually saved from my Litespeed T6, and I replaced the rear brake pads.
This is my first 1X bike and my first ever SRAM bike and man I can see why people love the simplicity of 1X and SRAM. The shifts while not any faster than my mechanical Shimano Ultegra have such a such a satisfying feel to them. Getting used to the brakes being set up for the UK was not hard to catch on but a little weird a first. Force 1 is a pretty awesome value considering you get carbon cranks compared to Shimano's Ultegra.

Turn that seat post around, though!
