Does the bionx system keep track of total mileage?
Or is it just trip mileage?

Bikes: 27 speed ORYX with over 39,000Kms on it and another 14,000KMs with a BionX E-Assist on it

Yes; both trip and total mileage is accessible on the console, (speed, odometer, clock, average speed, trip distance).
