Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Carbon wrapped seatpost/aluminum frame

Does a carbon wrapped seat-post bond together in an aluminum from the outside elements like aluminum on aluminum?

I don't understand what you are trying to ask.

Does it have te same problem of corroding and getting stuck in the frame as aluminum on aluminum. Will a carbon wrapped post galvanically corrode in and aluminum frame?

I'm not sure, but I don't see why it couldn't get stuck.

I would say no but anything is possible. Clean it regularly if you're riding in elements and I can't see there being an issue.

My caad came with a carbon wrapped seatpost. It's a bit over a year old now and although I don't remove it often it's never been a problem. Not sure plastic would bond to much of anything without glue anyway (or enough heat to melt it).

Galvanic corrosion occurs between dissimilar metals. Alum seatpost and alum frame are not dissimilar. And carbon is an insulating barrier between.
