Have not seen this posted elsewhere.
Can't seem to load a picture, but thought it worthy of it's own thread.

Peter Berlo (unconfirmed) built sextet multicycle. Possibly from 1890s.
16 feet of close companionship.

I claim no knowledge. Location is just east of Vancouver BC.

1895?

That's the previous, previous century.

The Gay Nineties, as it were.

Six on one bike is really gay. Now, that's back when gay meant "happy."

I'm reminded of Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris, where the modern protagonist yearns for the Roaring Twenties, magically gets there, and meets a love interest who longs for the Gay Nineties.

We're all nostalgic. I burn for the 1970s.

Wow, I don't know where I'd display that if I even had the money to think about it. It's a long sucker. That last seat just sort of seams tacked on there like a rumble seat.

Ha, it all makes sense now. 😁 I kept thinking, someone's not doing their fair share of pedaling, but that only scratches the surface of this mystery. 😋🤪😉
