That's from my (now defunct) LBS! I'd love to bring that bike home, but it's a bit too big and way too expensive for me. That Bianchi you posted in Billerica is really tempting, though!

Beautiful 60 cm Ironman. I love the understated color scheme and anodized Shimano 600 chainrings, shame it's so big, if was in 58 I might consider it.

More than $10 in artistic value alone. Even if frame was busted I would keep it an hang it on the wall.

Definitely Fuji's finest, 58 cm. Love those lugs, and that colorway. I wonder how rideable the old beast still is, since that seat tube angle looks pretty goofy. And how much she weighs? Yarrr!

Anyone want to bring that over for me and meet at Gaiole? I have no Japanese or American in my stable, and that would do just fine...

I agree that ST angle is horrible, I bet you fall every ten or fifteen feet

I have one of these (rode it yesterday actually) and IMO it is a bit twitchier then my 88 Tempo or my Nishiki Prestige. I don't remember the weight off hand, but IIRC catalog weight was right around 22 lbs.

I am sort of tempted actually- but the riding i do these days is pretty much commuting- and that is not a commute bike.
All I have are vintage bikes so a 54 Schwinn Hornet is a commute bike.

2 Chrome Paramounts This is a pretty neat posting on craigslist in Chaska MN

"I inherited a bunch of bicycles and parts from my dad including two chrome 1970's Schwinn Paramount bikes in good shape. They are both nearly road ready as is but I would clean them up first. In fact I wish to rebuild and restore them!

So here is the deal. If you have a passion for quality vintage bicycles and are looking for a summer project then reply with a bit about yourself. One of the bikes is yours upon completion! I hope to net more than a restored Paramount by the time we are done. I hope to learn a few things, obtain a few tools, make a like minded friend and maybe a riding partner!"

Very cool! Lesson 1; they are steel not alloy! (Yes I know steel is an alloy of iron and carbon etc...)
