Here in Calgary weather can be unpredictable
I ride everyday in winter except nasty days like heavy wind, r7ght after snowfall.
much depends on the city how my ride will go.
and Calgay does pretty shoddy job removing snow.
often snow is not brushed but plowed = means layer of snow left - shoody standards
so I cannot stress enough your winter ride much depends on city services,
once few complain on 311 city thinks everthing OK
that is for $220 /month property tax in my case

In my case commuting to work instead of driving car, I hate traffic jam ,its waste of time and too stressful . now I have smile on my face , I save a lot of time , petrol money and most important I have lots of energy and plenty of freedom durning my daily commuting to work .

We have a spring at about 5 km distance from our house and quite hilly terrain on the way. With an e-bike, the trip to get the fresh water turns into real fun. Fresh air, not too much effort, love it.
