I have 2 and each has a different purpose.
Just like I have 2 hammers, 4 torque wrenches, a dozen 13mm wrenches, 2 children and 2 grandchildren.
They're all my favorite.

My bike collection of 30 years had gotten up to 10 bikes that I never rode. I only rode my newest bike. They were all high end bikes when I bought them. Months ago I sold most of them on Craigslist. They are not missed because I never rode them. The one that I ride now is a keeper. Niner RDO with DI 2 and tubeless tires and fenders. It is just like my car, smooth and quiet it will go anywhere I want anytime. If there is a group ride I just grab it and go. Gravel trails no problem. Fast road rides no problem. Rain or puddles no problem.

Two bikes for faster, shorter rides
Three bikes for longer 200 and 300k rides (one with larger tires for more rides with more gravel, the others for rides mainly on pavement)
1 MTB bike
1 gravel bike (actually an '80's MTB converted to drop bar), with some light MTB biking
2 old classic rode bikes for event involving classic racing bikes
1 low racer recumbent, for when I want to just haul tail on flat terrain.

All of my current bikes are listed on the left there, <<<< under my user name. I'm at 10 right now, but have the vintage Motobecane on CL, so I'm hoping to drop to 9 soon. I should sell the DeKerf, too...
My favorite is easily the Breezer Venturi road bike, because it is absolutely perfect at what it does. Fits like a glove, handles amazingly, feels fabulous and looks terrific. I love it!

Bike 1 is my local (home base) bike: 2019 Specialized Sirrus X Comp Carbon (now simply called a Sirrus X5, thank goodness). Full carbon flat-bar road bike, with the ability to take 'gravel tires'. Usually wears 32mm road tires. Used for all the cycling I do here: to/from work, and longer rides anywhere from 20 to 100+kms.
Bike 2 is my summer place bike: 2005 Giant Rainier hardtail, bought new. All that's left of it is the frame, really; everything else has been changed out and up, so to speak. Used for all the cycling I do there: mainly mtb, mostly non-technical now 'cos I'm old, and frailer than I was bitd.
Don't have a favourite; like 'em both. I've run Bike 1 stock its first two seasons; I've determined it's a keeper, so it will now -- depending on pandemic-induced bike parts availability issues -- get the Bike 2 treatment.

Though the Langster is great and I have put plenty of fun miles on the SS/FG RandoCross FunTime Machine and the dynamo on it is awesome and got me into it and then I added one to the touring bike.

I have a bunch of bikes, and have owned many others. I'd be hard pressed to pick a favourite, since they all have different purposes, but I have no problem figuring out the ones I don't like - they are the bikes I never ride.
Those ones get culled from the herd as soon as I figure it out.

Bike that gets >99% of the mileage is my 2000 Litespeed Vortex - bought the frameset on eBay used in 2003, but it up with Chorus 10sp, and repair/overhaul/replace parts as needed. My dream bike when I bought it, remains my dream bike today. Second bike is a ~1995 De Bernardi Cromor lugged steel that has existed as a road bike, fixed-gear and single speed - it's a "neighborhood runabout" in theory, but I need seem to actually use it. Third and last bike is a $250 Nashbar 3sp commuter - "sit up and beg" geometry, backswept bars, weighs a ton - I put a front basket and rear rack on it - also a neighborhood runabout, I suppose - gets as little use as the other one.

I have 4 fully built and ready to ride right now. A couple road, a gravel, and a touring/commute.
Been as high as probably 8 or 9 that were ready to ride condition.
As for my favorite, its whichever is best for the ride I am going to take. I dont have a favorite beyond that.

1977 Lippy touring bike owned since new. Probably considered a sport tourer these days. For many years basically my only, do it all bike including commuting. Now used for credit card touring, longer around home recreational rides with extended climbing and some light errand riding. Roughly 40% of current miles.
1978 Bruce Gordon acquired roughly 2 years ago. Used for totally unloaded short to medium recreational rides around home. Roughly 40% of current mileage. No utility riding.
2012 Rivendell Atlantis acquired in 2016. Grocery getter, after dark rider, foul weather rider, off pavement rider, self contained tourer. A little under 20% of current miles.
1982 Trek 720 acquired in 199? as a backup bike. Now a backup of a backup of a backup with limited mercy miles. Survived 4 or more years as my son’s college bike only to be stolen after I reclaimed it and then recovered over a year later because of a bikeindex.org listing.
pre 2000 Bike Friday NWT acquired in 2011. Currently reserved for international travel of which there has been zero in 2020 so it is in its suitcase. Only miles this year were post tune-up test miles in anticipation of cancelled trip to Japan.
199? Lippy tandem acquired 4 or 5 years ago. A big ZERO for 2020 as my stoker is unfortunately most uncooperative. May have to take it out solo before end of year if stoker can’t be convinced to give me at least one ride for the year.

2008 Serotta Fierte, Campy Chorus, Campy Proton wheels, ridden every day basically since the gyms shut down, 3 days a week before. With me in Manhattan. I could never part with it.
Late 90s Colnago Master, Campy Chorus, Campy Zonda Wheels. It was NOS when I bought it and I am too scared to ride it much. It’s at my beach house in NJ. This weekend I will take it out.

I have 4 Ironman. An '86 6 speed, an '87 7 speed, an '88 8 speed, and an '89 9 speed. My favorite is the '86 6 speed...with the '89 coming in a close 2nd.
Built exactly how I want it. Dura Ace BB, HS, FD, RD, and Hubs. Crankset and Brakeset are OEM.

The dates apply to the frame only. All of these are road bikes. Each one rides/handles a little differently, but I love them equally - kinda like I love my children equally, even though their characters are very different.

The Backroad is an all purpose mount that has served me well in urban areas, on sporting road rides, light touring and some good single track. It is very comfortable, pleasantly sporty, and bomb proof.

It depends where I am riding. If in town on the trails, it is my trike, because it is so easy to ride with all the stop and go riding. No unclipping and wobbling around again trying to get clipped in. Out on the hiways with the bike club, my LWB bent.
But I do tend to like the trike for the fun and ease of use.

the one I overall like the most has S105 stuff. Don't like mechanical for the "adjustment" needs.

The Crosshairs is everything I expected it to be. Owned it for 6 years now and plan on keeping it going.
The Karate Monkey I own I had for 8 or 9 years and has been changed several times and the latest version is a a drop bar mountain bike. I really like that set up.
The Fuse is ok. Had better mountain bikes. I hate hate hate the PF30.
