Not mine, and these are kinda rare. Looks mostly original (hubs are not). If it were my size, y'all would have never known about this.

Not a PX10, which would be a 531 Reynolds frame, but a rare 1986 PX. 21 lbs per the catalogue.

Correct! I forgot they had dropped the "10" by then.

I've got that same bike, and it's Columbus SLX. 'Looks like original MAVIC gruppo is intact. The ride is fantastic, but a little twitchy with a steep seat tube. My ankles keep banging on the MAVIC cranks--same shoes and pedals work great everywhere else. I paid $300 for mine in 2011 near Pittsburgh. That headset demands a special wrench set, I found it on eBay after some time.

The dork disk must go! It's a really nice bike...

That's quite a grail bike for many 80's Peugeot fans! Quite a good buy at the BIN price. Which I wasn't so broke right now! Heck!, just the headset alone could cost one about 130ish bucks if NOS! Top that with the Mavic 801 group and the bargain gets better....then SLX tubing...yahoo!

I too have one of these in a 52cm, and have been looking for one in my size for quite a while. I bought the 52 just because it is a grail bike for me, it is the bike I always wanted as a jr. racer back when I first started. This one listed on Ebay is not complete, but the original wheels are pretty easy to come by, and it still has the Mavic bar/stem. The saddle might be a problem. Oh well, I'll keep waiting for a 58 to show up.

No.

By the mid 80's Peugeot was using Columbus SLX tubing, some of these SLX bikes were given the PX designation while 531 SL/P tubed bikes were given the PZ designation. Regardless, all were 10 series bikes...PY10, PZ10, PX10. In true Peugeot form you'll find that the designation pairing with type often changed.

1987 model has '10' in the catalog.

1986 French market:

PY10FC = carbon
PRO10 = 531P w/ Simplex
PY10M = 531P w/ Mavic
PX10 = Super Vitus 979
PSV10 = Super Vitus 980
PX10SH = 531P w/ Shimano

Note that there's a PY with carbon and a PY with 531P and there's a PX with 531P and Vitus 979!!!
