I've got your back.
Hmmm.... I would have thought elbow was a better bet right now.
Speaking of which, how is it healing?

Little by little I am figuring this cycling thing out. Each of these rides is a huge learning experience for me.
I've just been really lucky. I moved to a town which happens to be cycling Nirvana, just a great community of people and great infrastructure, terrain and weather. I have gotten some really good advice and mentoring on Bike Forums, specifically in Addiction. And also from the circle of people I ride with. I stumbled into getting good stuff. I have an awesome coach who I 100% respect. And the most supportive cycling spouse imaginable who encourages it all- the time on the bike, the seemingly unending expenses, the weekends away for big rides, whatever I want to do. *And* he will SAG anything.
I mostly know though that I came to cycling late. People my age are more likely to have health issues, aside from the typical cycling ailments and injuries. There's all kinds of things life is going to eventually throw at me, I won't always be able to ride like this. But for now I can and I just want to make the most of it while the opportunity is here, because my window may be short. If I did anything less, it would be a shame, like squandering your good fortune.

Can't believe it's already July. Thought it was still June 20th or so.
