There’s no set answer to that. Ebikes come in several varieties, and gets ridden in different manners.
My ebike requires me to pedal for the motor to engage, and the motor cuts out at 25 kmh.
And my rolling average is 28 kmh.
So unless there’s inches of snow on the road, I do my ”cruising” unassisted. The motor helps in climbs and getting up to speed, and that’s pretty much it.
That’s very much a cycling experience.
Of course, I can ALSO set the assist to ”high” and cruise along at 25 kmh merely moving my legs in lazy circles.
Other bikes are indeed more like electric mopeds or low-powered motorbikes.

I'm pretty sure I'm overthinking it because of how familiar I am with the 3x pattern. I think I'm just going to have to figure it out as I go.

I discovered this today, in which on page 9 they state they recommend a 1x pattern for anything 24" and smaller. Looks like I'll be doing 1x. Once again, anyone have a good resource for instructions on this lacing pattern? Seems like the general consensus is to lace with all heads in or heads out. As previously stated, I think I need to just go for it and figure it out. I'm sure it'll come naturally once I'm trying to lace 1x...pretty sure I'm overthinking it.

This seems to clearly illustrate the scenario I'll be working with.
