Please discuss this "cinelli" frame

I'm no cinelli expert, is this for real?

If it's not, that's a lot of money someone is paying for whatever it is.

Genuine non knowledgable person ?:

But the engravings? The fork crowns, the brake bridges, the bottom bracket? It isn't just stickers saying fake though? I am confused.

The fork crown is not engraved Cinelli (though it could have been). Cinelli sold their framebuilding parts (bottom brackets, bridges, etc) with their logo which continues to mislead unsuspecting buyers even now. Note that this bike clearly is engraved "Schuster", so it should be obvious.

Also this bike is hardly "NOS", check out the dropouts.

Not a Cinelli.

A used bike, but the paint is pristine which means re-finish, which means they put on Cinelli decals.

I'm no expert but this is what I found with a little digging:

https://www.radhaus-schuster.de/

Possibly a shop build with Cinelli frame-building parts. He mentions originally buying it from Germany.

That's not a Cinelli Schuster. It's a Cinelli Shyster.

I didn't think it was a cinelli but I didn't know if there was anything that would
make that frame be worth $1600

Seller says eBay cancelled his first auction attempt as it 'had used multiple brand names in the listing search title!' Good for them!

Well, this one wasn't cancelled and it went for $1825 to a bidder with 0 feedback. There was another bidder with 200+ feedback who went up to $1800

At least the seller did acknowledge that some had contacted him about it not being a real Cinelli. The only confirm-able Cinelli part of the frame is the bottom bracket. I have no idea how valuable the Schuster frames are, but, it's a real looker. Heaven only knows if the frame is worth $1800+.
