Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Waiting for it to arrive

Hey People, I recently purchased a new bike that I plan to use for commuting. It’s a Pure Fix Premium Cleveland edition. It was between this, the Kilo TT Pro and the Fuji Feather. I passed in the TT, because the bikes-direct process became frustrating and I passed on the Fuji because City Grounds didn’t have my size in the style I wanted. I guess it worked out, because the Pure Fix is the original bike I liked. The Coolidge was what caught my eye first, but they don’t make that style anymore. I hope I like this bike as much as I think. Posting pictures soon.

-Moe

Cool deal. Pure Fix doesn't get much love on this forum. But if you like it and it does what you need/want/expect it to, then who can complain?

Welcome to the forum. We do have threads for pictures of your bike and for hey look at what I just bought. Hope you enjoy the bike even if a Pure Fix and enjoy the forum as there are some great threads around to help you and help others and shoot the proverbial shiz.

This is true. If it doesn’t, I guess I’m the only one to blame. 😊 I don’t plan to keep it stock for too long, if that puts people at ease. Thanks for the reply.

Thanks, but I must confess that I've seen this video at least a dozen times already. :-)

As Zach G. points out, those bikes really aren't that bad.

Bikes are fun. Enjoy it.

I have my bike now, but it's in storage for the time being. I moved to Austin, TX, so I'm looking forward to the cycling scene here!
