St Patrick’s Day - Show Your Green Bike!
It’s St Patrick’s Day but with all the crap going on, it sure doesn’t feel like it. I know we’ve done this before but cheer me up by posting your green bikes.

No rain outside for the first time in days and the sun actually dared to show its face. I sneaked out for a minute to take a pic...

Top o the morning/afternoon to ya! Here is my contribution. Since it is a beautiful day, I will take my customary birthday ride on it.

With pleasure laddie.
The first two are very light "champagne" green and look very green in some light, these pics, not so much.
You'll have to take my word for it.

This is my 84 Letour Luxe. It has previously been known to have the worst paint job ever seen(mine, with a brush). It has since been sanded and rattle canned, also by me, and is somewhat better, but would not satisfy the ocd among us. It is being prepped for a June tour, if things have settled down by then.

I rode my folder to the coffee shop only to find it closed, by order of the Governor...

I'm making Irish beef stew tonight. I marinated it in the fridge over night in guinness. No surprise here but it will have lots of potatoes and cabbage as well, . And I'll probably watch The Quiet Man tonight over dinner.
Two green bikes. The first is my Trek 950; the other is a kelly green Mercier 300 that I need to rebuild one of these days:

British Racing Green, so apologies to the Irish. Also forehead slap, completely forgot to wear my Ireland jersey on my ride today.

That's alright! They also forgot to dye the Chicago river green today. All of the local pubs are closed and as close to an Irish meal for me will be Reuben bites. Go figure!
I am thinking it will be some Tulamore Dew tonight. Smiles, and Happy St.Patrick's day, MH

Green-ish, in some lighting conditions
'91 Gary Fisher SuperCaliber, original owner.
Short of front tire (and fenders), back to original.
and one that was kinda neat, in a funky, shorty fender type of way....... but moved quickly to a more appreciative owner.

My fiance's 1956 Raleigh Sports and my 1950 Raleigh Superbe. The sun brings out the color on them nicely. The Superbe is currently hanging on the wall...
