I have posted this elsewhere and got a few leads but now trying here if thats OK. Looks ostensibly Holdsworth, but has latter Campy dropouts and too-short a serial number (#328) I think the cable braze-ons are a latter addition. Probably Reynolds 531 (27.2 post, 2.7kg weight etc etc). Bought it on a whim as I don't normally like red bikes and want to cover it in as many labels as I can.

Given the "80s" touches I wonder if it could possibly be one of the "transition" era Holdsworth/Holdsworthy frames after when the concern had changed hands to Falcon ? It certainly has SOME very typical "Holdsworthy" features (and tracks toward a "Mistral" or "Super Mistral" model) like the Prugnat lugset and full wrap-over seat stays and the forkcrown, BUT as you point out the shorty Campy dropouts, and inside-top tube cable guides are unusual for most Holdsworthy, even in the mid-late '80s. Plus the 3-digit serial number is not typical AFAIK. But there is a more comprehensive serial data base you could find here in C&V with a search.

Thanks for posting this puzzle!
since it is an obvious respray we need keep in mind that some of the braze-ons may be post-manufacture additions
find myself wondering about the internal routing of the rear brake cable...
if convenient, could we get a better image of crown and shell please?
