Purchase For A Relative
I purchased this bike today in speculation that it would go to a family member. I’m not a single track rider. My rides are on roads, bike trails and rail trails and my rider is an 80s steel lugged all-road bike. I don’t keep up with with mountain bike stuff but after noticing the hydraulic disc brakes, Deore XT drive train and working front fork shocks I decided it was probably worth the asking price. I’ll mention that I came across this bike unexpectedly at a yard sale.
I haven’t yet researched the model but maybe someone could give me a head start by giving details about this bike. The frame measures 19” from the center of the bottom bracket to the top of the seat tube. What height rider would fit this frame? Any other hints about how best to identify this bike would be appreciated. I’m about to look for a serial number so I can maybe determine the year.
Thanks.

Just did a tune on one for a friend, think they're 05 or 06, decent bike but keep an eye on the bushings. They work loose they can ovalize the holes in the linkage and now adays that makes it hard to fix. Hers had cartridge bearing hubs and and an isis BB which was annoying to find a quick replacement for. Decent bike and still a good rider.
