Vintage Bianchi soft case value?
I've had this bag for quite some time, and have no idea what it's worth these days.
Anyone have any idea?
Thanks,
Rich

What is it? A wheel bag? Or? It's a bit hard to tell size from those photos. It looks to be from the 1980s-1990s to me -- if a wheel bag perhaps $40-50 if you find the right person.

How big is this puppy? The photos don't show anything as far as scale.
If it's big enough to swallow a frame, I'm getting a travel case / frame bag vibe.

It is a soft case for a full bike frame and wheelset. I've got it packed away again, but will take it out for pics with something to compare size - but it is a full-size travel soft-case for the entire bike.

So the question is, what's a Bianchi soft case worth? I'm thinking $50 at the low end and $100 at the top end.
I don't see many bags like this in real use. Unless there is a way to protect the wheels & frame from rubbing against each other, you're running the risk of damaging the frame in transit. Pieces of cardboard, sheets of plastic and foam pipe insulation may help, but that adds to the weight and bulk, and doesn't necessarily protect your stuff from outside impact damage, which is the major dilemma with any soft case.

I agree with bargainguy , 50-100.
Not sure it something that is super collectible or has a lot of utility. If it was a hard case, then people might use for air travel and there's a lot of value there. I imagine if people were breaking bikes down for road trips, they might prefer a hard case then too. Doesn't seem like many situations where a soft case is most suitable solution for packing a bike. Maybe if I had a decently valuable Bianchi bike that I travelled with and didn't want to put on a bike rack, I would pack it in there wheels separate just to keep it from getting scratched or knocked around.
If it was Bianchi celeste colored, then I would think higher.
Ebay is probably your best bet on selling.
