Schwinn Madison - Performance Superbe

It's really an '86 or so, not a '75. I've spent too long looking at '80s Schwinn catalogs to know!

Also, a rare Performance Superbe road bike. Just $150 for full Suntour Superbe Pro!! Definitely not a museum piece, but SP as a rider not a problem. Living the college life, but looks to be all there.

This looks like a decent one that may have slipped under the radar with the title: SCHWINN Iron Man Expert Dave Scott 1988 - $300

That's a great price for that bike. These were originally built in Colorado. The story of these bikes is online here: https://www.barracudabicycles.com/bikes.html

Here's mine, bought last summer for a hunnerd bucks:

It rides very well, in a nimble, middleweight steel MTB sort of way. The paint finish is excellent, which is why I chose it for my winter bike. If it's your size, this is a helluva deal.

Good info and that's a nice ride! If it was on my side of the Bay, I'd grab it since it's my size. Hope it goes to a bike person and not some flipper.

Oh my, look at the blue on this gitane. $180

https://orangecounty.craigslist.org/...455182859.html

Edit: This is an odd ad, but modern dura ace, Brooks saddle. Everything one might want for a retro-roadie build. Can't imagine a better donor bike, even if the cranks are not my taste. $145

Mountain bike, needs seat - $25 (West Ashley)

"I have a red Specialized Rockhopper men's mountain bike for sale. I don't know the framesize but it average midsize. It is missing the seat because it got swiped. Needs a tune up lube and it has been outside during the ice storm so maybe needs a mechanic to look at it and give her a safety check. Sticker says chrome moly steel

Tires are good but overall condition is used needs a little tlc detailing to look sharp has a out of town police license sticker and it is a couple of years old

I can meet you halfway in West Ashley, at the gas station or grocery store you pick. The other way you can get it is come to the house we live in Grand Oaks near Glenn McConnell and bees ferry. No shows late arrivals kind of piss me off. Phone or text me six five zero 4eight5 316seven or just reply to this ad. I'll respond with pics

I am selling for cheap because I don't want it, it is in fair condition and it needs a seat so it isn't rideable right now. I figure a mechanic would give it a q & d fix and that will cost you a few bucks"

Bike is too nice to put in "Wacky...", and I figured if someone wanted it, the backwards fork would be a tell that the seller doesn't know much about bikes.

Thought this might belong in the wacky thread with the misspelling, bad photos, and no asking price, but "will sell very cheap" and "two Serottas" sound nice together. And the are-you-looking-for-one-of-these thread is all about drool and wishful thinking. Of course it's in the middle of nowhere!

high end bikes for sale or parts - $1 (northern Michigan)

Have bikes I have somehow inherited. ..there is 2 Serretta bikes 24 speed (competition marathon bikes) and one Trek 24 speed...these bikes range from 10,000 dollars each down to 3500.00 will sell very cheap in comparatively to what they cost new...very motivated to sell to get them out of my living rm. Also have vintage slot machine for sale asking 1500.00 o.b.o had new monitor installed works great...CALL CURT TODAY.....Will consider parting out bikes if prices are right but would rather sell complete as they work and ride (great)

No worries. I don't think what you wrote was in any way stupid, but then again, I'm not your gf.

Thank you for pointing it out, as I neglected to make mention of the fork in my posting.
