Yes, they look like the original Accushift 6-speed shifters that are on mine. Quite a reach down from way up there!

I'm not convinced this is quite the stock Raleigh color scheme. Sorry for the bad photo, this is from Craigslist, after all.

Decent, non-original Schwinn Prelude, but geez...

VERY IMPORTANT! YOU MUST SPECIFY A DAY AND TIME TO SEE THE BIKE IN YOUR RESPONSE, IF YOU DO NOT I WILL NOT REPLY. DON'T WORRY I AM VERY FLEXIBLE ON HOURS, WEEKEND OR WEEKDAY, DAY OR EVENING DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS.
Before riding any bike you acquire you should go over it carefully to make sure it is safe to ride, if you cannot do this yourself by all means take it to a shop and let them go over it.
I will only respond to emails that suggest a specific day and time you would like to see the bike, most afternoons are good and early evening during daylight. If this is not in your response I will not reply. If that time is not good and I will suggest an alternative time that works for both of us. I apologize for any inconvenience but must insist on this as there are too many efforts to send spam..
Please respond by email and I will respond in kind and if you wish you can also leave a phone number. If the bike is still listed it is still available, I will delete the posting as soon as the bike is sold so the best reply is to let me know when you would like to see the bike and I will match your availability with my own. I am generally available most afternoons, any day till dusk. Please no low balls or scammers, I will not respond. Questions? Please ask. Cash only, also please do not ask if it's still available as if it is still listed, it is
The bike will be sold to the first person that arrives regardless of when the call comes in, I cannot hold the bike so please schedule an appt. as soon as you can make it.

Maybe it's because he only comes outside at night?

Gotta love those date stamps. I bet the seller has a VCR that just blinks 12:00 all the time.

Having sold too much stuff on CL, I can appreciate this disclaimer. Sadly,90% of responders won't have read his disclaimer.
I've started putting "pick up in Schertz" in the title of my ads and yet half the potential buyers I get don't bother to read even the title.

I think there is a market out there for "collectible" vintage electronics. However, I do see a lot of recently obsolete electronics like CRT/projection TV's that people are trying to sell for top dollar. It makes me go hummm as well. They should just take them to the local electronics recycle center.

My second option for purchase at second hand stores are vintage hifi speakers.
At the moment I have a pair of Vintage Infinity Qe speakers, Ribbon Tweeters intact and working.
A set of 4 Klipsh KG.05's from the early 90's with sequential serial numbers, and a pair of Totem DreamCatchers + the Totem sub (2.1).
I buy and flip.

EDIT: forgot the garage speakers, a pair of Boston CR7's and a pair of Boston CR5's

If I had a bigger house and more money, I'd setup a predigital/analog room. Chock full of old electronics, clocks and rotary phones.

Nice bike, but probably not $6K nice:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/BIANCHI-REP...e/202072411771

The honking horn is a classy touch. Also, is the headbadge a little crooked?
