1984 Raleigh Kodiak 700c conversion. Large tires need apply.

I was fortunate enough to pick up the above-mentioned bike from marketplace. It originally had 27” tires. Now it has enough room for 38c and fenders. I built up for my spring bike. ISO a nice front basket/rack & basket combo. Thanks for looking!

Were you able to use the original brakes? DC 960?

Did the same with a trek 720. I used 35s and fenders and it's so nice. Yours looks wonderful!

ive owned a 1983 720 and it seems like the Raleigh has it beat in the clearance department. Unfortunately I no longer own the 720 so I can’t measure.
