Shimano M064 spd shoe successor
My 10 year old Shimano M064 spd shoes are slowly nearing end of life. I have slightly wider feet and they've been comfortable since day one. I know they were basic and cheap but they've been great to me. What is the spiritual successor or does anyone have experience with the following?
I'm seeing Shimano MX-100, Shimano XC-100, and Shimano XC-300 with my size and reasonable price point but they're at different stores so I'd like to pinpoint a model before going to try them on.

Go to a store (or stores) and just try on whatever shoes you can get your hands on. Others' recommendations are OK, but not worth much. Given that, I recommend you at least try some Sidi. They make many 2-hole cleat shoes of a wide variety of price points. You might find that other brands fit as well or better than your Shimanos.
