Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? I just bought these from amazon and saw that both tires had these two holes on them. Should I return them or is this normal?

The tires are perfectly fine. Those holes are tire wear indicators. When you can no longer see the holes, the tires are too worn down and should be replaced.

im not to sure about the roads in vegas being better, i guess it depends. Alot of durango sucks, maryland parkway is terrible, parts of trop.

flamingo is alright. las vegas blvd sucks on parts. if youve ever ridden on koval it is friggin terrible.

i will say lots of bell road are friggin awful.
