Brooks Saddles
Anyone using brooks saddles on their tandems? Looking at maybe getting a set of Champion Flyer specials for me and the wife. My seat is not real comfortable for the tandem long rides as it was on my single bike and want something else and something nice.

Yep!
B-17 for me. Ordered it for my Tarmac because of the legndary confort factor. Couldn't do it tho, the Tarmac just looked UGLY with a B-17 on it. I kept it for the tandem. Works there. 1K on it now and its more comfortable than when new - as advertised.

I've got a Team Pro and I'll never go back. I don't feel like my butt has been bruised after longer rides and no um - numb manhood.
I asked my wife if she wanted to try a Brooks but she's happy with what she has (Serfas Rx with a Thudbuster seatpost). If she's happy, I'm happy.

I ride a Flyer on the front(sprung B17), Stoker rides a Champion S. Best move we made. I talked her into it since I ride Brooks saddles on my other 6 bikes, including a Conquest on the Mtn bike.

So do you know for sure that the Champion Flyer is wide enough for your wife's sitbones?

Team Pro for me on all my bikes including the Tandem. Stoker uses a Champion Flyer Special, and she loves it.

B17 Narrow. I like it and it looks nice. Not for the weight concious though. Try the bay for decent buy it now prices on new.

This is worth repeating. The women's specific Brooks saddles are quite different shape than the men's. My wife LOVES her B17s, but I doubt she could ever get comfortable on a B17, which I think is just awesome.

We have b-17's on the tandem. Marcia (My stoker) loved hers from day one. I'm at peace with mine, but it's not may favorite saddle.
