Finding replacement straddle cable for 1980s dia-compe cantis
I have an '86(?) Fuji Touring Series IV with Dia-Compe canti brakes. They're center-pull with a straddle cable that's about 15 cm long, and has knarps/barrels on both ends. One is starting to fray and I figured it should be replaced.
The only similar products I can find online, with barrels on both ends, are either significantly too short or too long- it doesn't seem like there's anything more than 11 or less than 25 cm. If one end bolted on and the other used a barrel, I could just buy an overlong cable and cut it down, but that's not really an option here. Anyone know of a good source for a cable that's closer to the size I need?

You can also find that kind of stuff locally at auto parts or industrial suppliers like Grainger
