A quiet Friday



Here's what I worked on today.

The black bike will be revisited, it's been shown in pieces here before... Bad photo in a dark and very hot garage as the paint cures. Lot's of assembly to go still including dyno hub wiring.

The fork is number three for the year. First time using this crown, pretty nice if you want narrow tire to blade clearances. Andy

that fork drawing is really nice, how did you generate it?

I have a fork with that crown. I wish I had made it for 32mm tires.

Are you painting in your garage? I was thinking about your sandblast cabinet thread the other day.

Eric- I had the bike wet sprayed by a local powder coater. Sandblast, phosphate application, primer and color with only my "S" head badge being masked cost about $150. I then applied my SSKInk decals and sprayed clear rattler can 2 part paint. I did try to do the first coat in the garage but thought better after the first tube was done. I finished up in the driveway, upwind. Andy
