Bridgestone diamond track

Hi everyone new to the site and this is my first post. I recently came across a bike at a local bike shop that fit me really well. I’m 6’2 and am looking for a reliable single speed that get me from work and back. I commute on daily nice roads in the city. Anyways, the bike I can across was a Bridgestone Diamond Track kabuki. It rides beautifully but the shop is asking for $800. Do you think that it’s fair price? I tried attaching pictures but was unable to, due to being a new member. But hopefully I’ll be able to post in comments. One of the shop keepers told me a story about the bike being made in Japan and bro g one of the nicer models of this bike. Can anyone confirm it’s worth? Like i said it rides beautifullyThanks in advance!

The subject bicycle is a 1975 Kabuki Diamond Track set up as a single speed. The only thing that appears to be OEM is the frame itself, which is in very nice condition. Still, IMO, it's worth nowhere near the asking price. I'd help with a photo assist but the last time I did that, I was reprimanded.
