Give them a shake now & then as they scorch a bit
pour in about 1/4 cup diluted Worcester sauce & re-cover, letting them steam a bit.
Sometimes I add some onions halfway through

Please. That's full of protein and omega-3 fatty acids. We're talking about stuff with no redeeming nutritional value.

Mine are pretty straightforward.

Split in half.
Lightly coat with olive oil.
Sprinkle crushed sea salt and pepper.
Throw them on the top rack in the broiler (Low setting) for 15 minutes.
Eat.

you guys would die around here. the workforce in this Chicago manufacturing plant is about 98% native Polish born. All announcements are dual language, I have to pull translators into meetings, etc. Pierogies come out of the woodwork here and everyone is always comparing them to each other almost as though they are using them to establish the % of nobility in their bloodline and heritage. Very patriarchal. The wives are expected to make them and they bring great shame on their husbands if they are not perfect.

....it's like a time warp. I despise it, but ....if you like Pierogies they are here.....

coming soon from Psimet Industries: Proudly Polish Pierogis, the official food sponsor of Psimet Racing.
Team members will toss them out to spectators at all the races, they will be the only permissible food in team musettes, "Cyclocross got you down? How 'bout a Psimet Pierogi handup!?"

Dude, you should start a new company - it's be the next great thing!

I first learned about this blessing as a child at one of my mom's triathlons. One of the giveaways was frozen Pierogies. Everybody wanted them.

I have a pot boiling at this very moment...

All this pierogies talk has me remembering eating kugelis (Lithuanian kugel) in my youth. That stuff will fatten you up in a hurry.

Oh I forgot about cereal. Trader Joe's Vanilla Almond Clusters with soy milk. Or any kind of cereal with any kind of milk. Leave it near me and I will finish the box. If there is a second box nearby, I will finish that one too.

What's the matter Psimet, you don't like pierogies? That is too funny! It's just like that, too. I know. The damn things are magical. My mother is the only person in her family of seven who can make pierogies like Oma. She has been known to cause battles at the family Christmas party when gifting pierogies to one sibling and not the others. Ahhh, good times!

What kind do you eat? We eat the cheese potato filled (my favorite) and sauerkraut filled ones. You haven't lived until you've had divine homemade pierogies made by a native Polish woman; in my case, my great grand mother.
