Was a fun watch. Many many years ago my dad took me to a cycling festival in Blaine, MN. We watched a velodrome race and they had a local collage engineering competition for bikes with full fairings and such. They had a two seater and I got to ride shotgun inside it. Dad had a connection. It was like the yellow version from the video. It was hot, smelly, noisy, scary as heck but I rode with a collage kid and we hit a speed of 58mph on a 1 mile straight. It was AWESOME! I have the picture but couldn't find it anyplace. Those rides are legit!
My dad to this day rides recumbent bikes, I wasn't into them like he is. I will keep a standard road bike. My dad who just turned 70 rides the crap out his "funny bike" the grand kids call it.

Lowracer1 rarely posts here anymore, but he has a Quest and has taken it on the DALMAC tour a couple of times. Here's a video he took. He passes me at 1:23 as I'm coasting downhill at 45 mph. It was only an estimated 60 mph, but I think it was a reasonable estimate.
