New bike recommendation
64 retired in good health (some knee/back pain) looking for hybrid for exercise, fun riding in the neighborhood and light trails.Have narrowed to: Sixthreezero Body Ease or Giant Cypress DX. Both with 21 gears and good riding mechanics, price point at $495. Recommendations/Alternatives?

They will all be about the same at any given price point. Get the one from the shop you like best.

I don't think you're comparing apples and apples here. The Giant has the Body Ease beat hands down, unless you're looking for something like that specifically. Case in point, check out the brakes, the frame geometry for comfort, the style of shifters if not the actual shifter brand. I wouldn't even put the BE in the same category as the Giant. There you have it, my 2 cents worth. Now go out and buy what you want, not what everyone else wants.

The Giant is a much better bike as far as I can tell.
Brakes, drive train, fork ... every aspect of the Giant is a step or more above the 630 and the price is the same. Easy choice.

Bikes look pretty similar.
If you were shopping for bedsheets or home decorations, I would recommend BB&B. If buying a bike, consider a bike shop.

Did anyone notice the adjustable stem on the Giant? That's a helpful feature to get the handlebars where you want/need them. I'd go with the Giant. But realistically for purposes, they're the same. Ride each one, if possible. Choose based on how the bike feels to you, and how the shop treats you. They'll be your partners in this, if you require after-purchase support. Good luck.

I'm thinking of buying a folding bike and ran across someone ebay. One is a Stowaway and the other is a Durban. They are inexpensive. Any thoughts ?

I think the Electra Townie is a great choice too. https://www.electrabike.com/ I would also look at used bike as most are a good value. Good luck!
